Laura Bruno MA, RP

Clinical Director, Clinical Supervisor, Registered Psychotherapist and Somatic Breathwork Practitioner

With a focus on somatic breathwork and nervous system regulation, Laura integrates science and practical approaches to promote healing and growth. She offers EMDR therapy and specializes in anxiety and trauma. As a former college professor and lifelong learner, Laura continuously enhances her knowledge to better support her clients. With over 15 years of experience, she also brings a specialized background in supporting first responders and their families, drawing from her time working alongside police as a crisis worker.

She is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Amanda’s client-centered approach empowers individuals to actively participate in their healing journey, fostering self-discovery, resilience, and personal growth. Her empathetic and relaxed style creates a sense of safety, making her a trusted partner in navigating life's challenges.

Melanie Pine MA, RPQ

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Melanie holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). With a background as a sleep technologist and youth crisis responder, Melanie brings a unique perspective to the team. She is trained in the Gottman Method and works with couples to strengthen their relationships through evidence-based approaches. Melanie is passionate about supporting couples and individuals on their healing journey, particularly those struggling with grief and maternal mental health challenges.

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) 

Arielle graduated with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She offers EMDR therapy and practices from a trauma-informed perspective, ensuring sensitivity to past traumas and their impact on present experiences. She also incorporates parts work (IFS) and the body (somatic) as part of her approach. She focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment for her clients to explore and heal.

Known for her warm and empathetic approach, Janessa excels at working with later teens and young adults in their early-to-mid 20s, guiding them through challenges like building confidence, navigating life transitions, and fostering healthier relationships with themselves and others.

 

Janessa combines up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based interventions and is dedicated to empowering individuals to take charge of their mental health and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

Tamika Ebanks  RP(Q)

Intern Psychotherapist

Tamika has completed her coursework for a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Currently completing her practicum hours, Tamika brings a wealth of passion and expertise to her work, particularly in serving the BIPOC and 2SLGBTQ+ communities.

 

Her client-centered, eclectic approach ensures each individual receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs. As a yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner, Tamika integrates a somatic lens into her practice, recognizing that true healing involves not just the mind but also the body. She is dedicated to providing affordable, accessible therapy through a sliding scale, making support available to all.

Katlyn Lamont  RP(Q)

Intern Psychotherapist

Katlyn is currently completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and has over five years of experience in frontline addictions and mental health. She has worked extensively with folks struggling with addiction and individuals in the 2SLGBTQ+ community, bringing a person-centred and authentic approach to therapy.

 

Katlyn is trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring her approach to each client's needs. Katlyn strives to create a supportive and collaborative space for clients to explore their experiences and work toward meaningful change.

Katlyn

Cheryl Allen  MSc, RP

Registered Psychotherapist

Cheryl is a seasoned therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting children, teens, and families through a wide range of mental health challenges. She is trauma-informed and has completed extensive advanced training, which allows her to approach each client with deep understanding, sensitivity, and care.

She works with individuals ages 6 and up, offering a calm, grounded presence and a collaborative, client-centered approach. Cheryl has extensive experience in both school and clinical settings, where she has supported children and youth navigating concerns such as anxiety, trauma, emotional dysregulation, behavioural struggles, grief, and self-esteem.

She also brings specialized experience in working with children under 12 who have been impacted by or involved in sexualized behaviours or abuse. She offers not only individual therapy but also parent coaching and family support to help caregivers feel more confident and connected in their relationships.
