Your breath is a doorway back to the present. 🌿

When anxiety shows up, it often pulls us into the future (‘what if this happens?’) or drags us back into the past (‘why did I do that?’). But your body is always here, and your breath is the bridge that can guide you back. 🗺

Here’s a simple way to practice:

1️⃣ Pause and notice your inhale. Don’t change it yet, just notice.

2️⃣ Begin to slow it down: breathe in gently through your nose.

3️⃣ Exhale a little longer than you inhale. Imagine releasing tension with every breath out.

4️⃣ Repeat this for 3–5 rounds. As you breathe, remind yourself: ‘I am here. I am safe. I am present.’ Even just a few mindful breaths can signal safety to your nervous system, help soften racing thoughts, and bring you back into your body.

You don’t need to “fix” everything in that moment - sometimes it’s enough to just come home to your breath. 🦋

When anxiety shows up, it often pulls us into the future (‘what if this happens?’) or drags us back into the past (‘why did I do that?’). But your body is always here, and your breath is the bridge that can guide you back. 🗺

Here’s a simple way to practice:

1️⃣ Pause and notice your inhale. Don’t change it yet, just notice.

2️⃣ Begin to slow it down: breathe in gently through your nose.

3️⃣ Exhale a little longer than you inhale. Imagine releasing tension with every breath out.

4️⃣ Repeat this for 3–5 rounds. As you breathe, remind yourself: ‘I am here. I am safe. I am present.’ Even just a few mindful breaths can signal safety to your nervous system, help soften racing thoughts, and bring you back into your body.

You don’t need to “fix” everything in that moment - sometimes it’s enough to just come home to your breath. 🦋
